Gailord Weeks, Ph.D.

Gailord C. Weeks, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the president of Midwest Psychology, PC. He has worked in the field of psychology with children, adolescents and adults for over 30 years. Dr. Weeks’ extensive training and experience provides a base for addressing depression, anxiety, mental illness, brain injury, abuse, learning problems, substance abuse, trauma, loss, marital and family issues. He has completed [numerous] detailed psychological evaluations throughout his career for children and adults that have included school-related assessments as well as forensic or court-related evaluations. Dr. Weeks places an emphasis on addressing health from a whole person perspective. An emphasis is placed on understanding the relationship of one’s psychological health to interpersonal relationships, family systems, work environments, school systems, belief systems and court systems. He has worked as a supervising psychologist for many years. Dr. Weeks has a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University in California with a primary focus on adults. He has an Educational Specialist degree and a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from Michigan State University primarily focused on children and adolescents. He is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Michigan Psychological Association and National Association of School Psychologists.

Kathleen Korstange, MA

Kathleen Korstange, MA is a limited licensed psychologist (supervised by a licensed psychologist) who works part-time at Midwest Psychology, PC. She completed her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at Western Michigan University. Kathleen earned certification as a School Specialist in Trauma and Loss from the National Institute of Trauma and Loss.
